Septic Testing

Chesapeake Exterminators, Inc. is registered with the Maryland Department Environment (MDE) to inspect on-site Sewer Systems for the transfer of property. All company inspectors have attended the required State training program and are qualified to inspect septic systems.

The guidelines that are followed by our inspectors are very extensive in order to determine the operation of an on-site Sewage System. Some of the standards for inspection of a septic system are: obtaining the systems records; conducting interviews with the owner and purchaser; visual inspection of the condition of the "holding tank" and "distribution box"; help determine if the system meets any local or state codes; instructions on how to maintain the life of the system. That criterion strengthens the process in protecting the groundwater, the environment, and the investment required for a septic system.
